Celebrating the 8 days of Hanukkah – Day 7

This year, we are celebrating the 8 days of Hanukkah with 8 of the Hebrew University’s bright students.

On each day we will be posting a picture along with a q&a.

For the 7th day of Hanukkah meet Yarden Museri, 3rd year BA student:

Yarden is 26 years old and hails from Hod Hasharon. She is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in sociology, anthropology and education.

Why HebrewU?
“I just love Jerusalem. It doesn’t hurt that Hebrew U is a great university, with fabulous professors. I know that studying here will put me on the right track to achieve my future goals.”

What are you studying?
“I have worked a lot in education in the past with youth groups and immigrants from Ethiopia. I’m interested in being an organizational advisor, and sociology is interesting to me, and is the appropriate degree for pursuing my goal. I hope to continue on and do a master’s degree.”

What is your favorite holiday memory?
“Jerusalem really knows how to celebrate Hanukkah in a very special way. I love walking around and seeing all of the lights of lit menorahs around the city.”

What was a miracle that happened to you this year?
This year I was accepted to an internship at the Joint (JDC) in one of their local governance projects. This is something that I have wanted to do for a really long time.

What hashtag represents the holidays for you?
#JerusalemCityLights
