Join us for a day of innovation at the Yom Ha’atzmaut Festival! 🇮🇱💡 Bring your startup idea to life and make a difference in the community! Build your team, register early, and get ready to pitch! 🚀💼 Don’t miss out on the chance to win cash prizes and be a part of something special!
What: Come out with an idea for a startup that will solve a problem within the community and will also be business viable. In other words- “for profit and for purpose”.
How: Build a team and register. At the day of the Festival participants of the “Build Your Own Startup” will come to the venue BEFORE other visitors of the festival, to allow enough time to work on their idea. The day will start with a short lecture about innovation and the definition of the task ahead. Mentors from all different fields will walk around during the day helping with feedback and advice. You will need to show a prototype and a (basic) business plan.
At the end of the Festival the teams will pitch their ideas on the main stage and winners will be announced.
Why: Contribute to the community AND have fun while doing so. We will have a coffee cart from the 10am (free for the participating teams!). will provide lunch and…. the winning team will get a prize of $2,000!
In addition, the team that will be announced as the crowd favorite, will receive a $800 prize.
When: Sunday, May 19, from 10 am.
