Zelman Cowen Academic Initiatives was established in 2021, to continue and build on the philanthropic tradition established by the Sir Zelman Cowen Universities Fund (1978-2021). Working as an advisory group to the Education and Heritage Foundation, the directors of ZCAI will provide recommendations for the allocation of funds for research in academic disciplines, at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and in Australian universities and supporting student exchange programs.
