“STUDENT EXPERIENCE” 

Summer Sessions:

Study alongside students from more than 90 countries in July or August, or combine courses from both sessions. Courses are taught in English at the undergraduate and graduate levels in all fields, with special focus in:

Summer Language Programs:

Our experienced faculty will support your development through an intensive course in Hebrew or Arabic that’s designed for your skill level – and you’ll get daily practice while living in Jerusalem, one of the world’s most historic, exciting and diverse cities.

Summer Archaeological Field Schools:

An exciting way to explore Israel and earn college credit, HebrewU sponsors archeological excavations at several sites, such as Biblical Tel Hazor, Tel Abel Beth Maacah and Tel Lachish.

Winter Session:

Take advantage of the semester break with a short two- to three-week course and experience Israel at its greenest. Options include:

  • Coexistence in the Middle East
  • Conflict Resolution from Religious Traditions
  • Israeli and International Law: Mishpatim Seminar
  • Biblical Archeology in Israel
  • Enjoy Life at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

You can apply to one of our summer or short-term programs if:

  • You’ve been accepted into a recognized college or university, or have successfully completed at least one year of study at an accredited institution of higher education.
  • You are fluent in English.
