The Hebrew University of Jerusalem has established the first ever university-based autism center in Israel. Officially established in August 2015, The Autism Center seeks to lead the Middle East in research, training, clinical services, and community engagement for the benefit of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families.
In this HUJI Talk, Prof. Cory Shulman, Director of the Autism Center and Head of The Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Program at the School of Social Work at Hebrew University, sheds light on perspectives on autism from the past, explains the groundbreaking research and pioneering clinical services being provided in the present and outlines the challenges for the future.
