These courses are taught at 5 levels: Aleph through Heh (Beginners – Advanced). These are intensive courses, at the end of the course there is a Level Exam. Students who pass the Level Exam may advance to the next level of instruction.
- Level Aleph Beginners have a total of 224 academic hours of instruction – 16 hours per week, for 14 weeks.
- Level Aleph Advanced have a total of 168 academic hours of instruction – 12 hours per week, for 14 weeks.
- Levels Bet-Gimel have a total of 196 academic hours of instruction – 14 hours per week, for 14 weeks.
- Level Dalet has a total of 140 academic hours of instruction – 10 hours per week, for 14 weeks.
- Level Heh has a total of 112 academic hours of instruction – 8 hours per week, for 14 weeks.
* Undergraduate students who are unable to stay for the entire 14-week course must stay for a minimum of 11 weeks in order to receive academic credit. The credits will be awarded according to the number of hours they attended. These students will be tested in a class Exam, but will not advance to the next level.
