In our fourth week, we present Prof. Shlomo Magdassi, the founder of multiple start-ups, a researcher in The Institue of Chemistry at Hebrew U, a member of the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, and one of the founders of The Center for Functional and 3D Printing, as he illuminates “The 3rd Industrial Revolution: Manufacturing By Printing”.
Prof. Magdassi reviews the history of printing from cave paintings right up to his development of photo-thermal paints for printed solar panels as well as functional inks for printed electronics, and the future of 3D printing, 4D printing and beyond.
